The Ukes Of Hazard
James Lewis and Finbar Yaughnan became a Ukulele duo to entertain and have fun with music. On the morning of their very first gig in a care home for the older folks they met at a local for a couple of pints of Dutch Courage and to go over the playlist . On their very merry way from the pub to the care home they passed Jason Wilde’s Free Portrait Studio which had been set up in the Castlehaven Community Association. Luckily for me James and Finbar agreed to take part in the project and after sitting for their individual portraits they played a beautiful two song gig with myself as the only member of the audience. Finbar (hat) died of cancer not long after.
